HubHive is a place where local businesses can maintain a presence that will add to their success. But, there is a process involved, and this is a rough outline of how it works.

To get the party started, Admins are building all of the listings on the site, but others can add themselves by choosing the “Create A Listing” button in the top menu. Eventually, we will stop adding businesses, and then it’s up to others to add themselves.

When we build the listing, the business has no control over the content, and this is not in their best interest. Once published, we will no longer be involved in updating any information, such as hours of operation, contact info, etc. Each business must take responsibility for themselves.

Step #1 in this process is for the owner to click on the “Claim This Business” button that appears on their page. Once this process is initiated, we will confirm that the claim is legitimate, and then the owner is in control of their page. There is no charge to claim a business.

Since we are only interested in businesses that are willing to help themselves, any business that is not claimed after one year will be deleted from the site. And, even businesses that claim their listing must renew it once per year, or it will be deleted. The business landscape is constantly changing, and we want our site to only show active businesses. We simply don’t have time to keep up with who’s coming, and who’s going, this must become a self-regulating ecosystem.

Free vs Paid

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, except for that fact that we give businesses a basic, free, listing if they claim their listing, and renew it once per year. This is called a “Default” listing and includes name, phone, email, brief description and location.

To see what’s included by paying, simply click on the “Listing Packages” tab in the top menu. It’s our intention that every business chooses the, very affordable, Bronze package to begin their journey with us. The site will be better for everyone once this happens, and the more expensive packages are designed to assist businesses in their success. We firmly believe in creating Win/Win situations, there’s simply no other way to stay in integrity.
